You must secure your system and run regular system maintenance. Also, since you now do not have system restore points, you can not restore data if something corrupts it, so you must be careful with registry editing and installing stuff.

You should also download Tune UP utilities and scan your windows, it will fix all known errors in it. And dont forget to defrag your system every month or so.

Well you must have transformers at the plant xD
They are all around it:
User posted image
Well the core at the power plant was buster from the earthquake / tsunami and it couldn't function, so you need backup generators to generate power for the pumps who will keep on pumping coolant into the reactor to cool the rods to prevent melt down. And plus, you need external power to start the plant as well :)
All electronics should be run on external power in the plant, because if the plant fails you wouldnt be able to do anything.

Nuclear power plants need yo have highly trained personnel to watch over it, i mean, just take a look at the control room:

90% of it is manually controlled, cause no computer in the world can replace human experience.

Its not really battery backup, its probably an coal or some other type of power plant next to the nuclear power plant. its a must have.

I never worry about power loss, Serbian transformers are kick ass

What if the power plant fails and you need to cool the rods? There are also backup generators.

I think when the plant is operational the power that it generates is also used to power up the pumps etc etc. But you need backup power.

Also, plant generates kilo volts, maybe like 50 kv, you need transformers to lower it down or in transfer to boost the power.

25kv - 110kv (1st amplification) - 220kv (2nd)(this goes trough large wires) - 25kv (city block transformer) - 380v (home usage)

The roods are lowered into coolant which is flowed by pumps to keep it cool.
Thats why you need external power.

The plant works by heating up water that drives the turbines and rotates large magnets that generate electricity.

And yes i think the same, why the hell design a plant thats not secured against a hurricane?! Its japan FFS.

Nope, no hibernation

I do have a high end PC, but this windows is tweaked to perfection.

On startup i have: Avast, Zone alarm, Tune UP utilities, Unlocker, Hamachi and Magic Disc.

My PC doesnt even have Fast boot enabled. It flies past Post screen in less than a second and goes to booting.

Shutting down unnecessary services is a good thing, because the indexing service is just there so you could have faster file search. From my experience differences in file search speeds are not even noticable.

Also lowering wait times is a good idea too, for instance, windows XP waits 20 seconds for other apps and than procedes to shut down. If you lower that time to like 2 seconds, it will not have to wait for anything and will shut down in a few seconds.

Also i have disabled hibernation cause i dont use it.

I wish i had an SSD xD
I have a WD HDD Blue series
I use my PC for games, programs, everything. Its extremely fast (lol bragging).

I dont know how windows 7 works when it comes to tweaking, but i know there are a lot of ways you can configure it.

A quick google search came up with:

http://www.winvistaclub.com/t1.html

Dont forget to read carefully, because when it comes to registry 1 small error can cost you your windows :D

The thing is to install a fresh install, get it secured with avast, zone alarm and install all fixes and stuff.

Disable indexing services (for faster search), system restore, shut down not required start up programs and get something like tune up to run every month.

I do this from 2008. Windows runs like a crazy african-american in a space shuttle. Really.

Everything is opening instantly after i click. Opera in less than a sec, games also, its just insanely fast.

Also lower responce time, wait time, etc.

Its basicly pulling and stretching stuff. I tried the generator a few times, and it looked pretty nice. But it was for GS. Here download it and try it out:

https://sites.google.com/site/gshltools/mapping-tools

Its made by Nems.

Also, this looks pretty good, and not GS at all, because its very large. Basicly i think it would look less GS like if the textures are good, plus there were more layers of hills or something.
