With such lighting it looks a lot nicer. And I think you shouldn't tesselate it, it looks very good for such an old game.

Btw, your terrain texture allignment way works like a charm! Thank you, I always Alt+rightclicked the whole terrain (lol) untill now.

Have been messing around with custom textures:

Most of them (except FADERED) aren't mine. I've just found them on the web and edited them a bit, so I won't upload this map when it's finished (nobody cares anyway

Oh come on. I don't even know how to make custom textures properly. I can only download prepared wads. No, wait. I made one texture myself in paint, it was supposed to be a trim texture...

Also, how did you make thos FADE textures look red? I wanna try to make something like that:

You already made two great screeines one of which is currently my new wallpaper, so there's no need to upload the .bsp.

I'm glad those textures are final, for some reason they fit CS 1.6. Only playermodels remove that nice cartoonish feeling.

You probably spent a lot of time making those caves, but I really like them.
Maybe you should add some detail to other rooms. They look kinda dull.

If you're going to retexture map later then I wouldn't suggest you to do that.
It looks very nice with those simple textures.
And how could I not mention those Doom door textures =)
I'd like to see de_dust remade in this style.

Yeah, this technique looks very nice, when you reuse an another path for the same location. However, I'm not experienced enough to make such things, plus I hate making terrain.

Looks very nice. Would never think of such usage of that door texture.

Maybe you're right, but Doom's engine isn't optimized for this. And if your Doom level looks too complicated then it will probably not be satisfying to play.

The only bad thing about it is you have to allign the wall textures yourself. Sometimes it's really frustrating.

IMHO Quake -> Quake 2 -> Half-Life 1 port won't take much time to make if you're using jackhammer.

Your map plays fine and architecture is very interesting. I'm sure that you will at least get silver for both the architecture and the idea. Those oversights aren't much of a problem. I might test some of your projects in future as I have more than enough time for it.

Hey Tetsu0, I've downloaded your map and found some more oversights:
-The ladder and doors in the suit charger room are inproperly textured;
-The rubbish bin looks a bit too big.
