I haven't tried ricochet so I can't comment on it.

No can do. They can't exist in a MP game. That's it. :

The star wars modding/mapping fiascoes? Don't really know. I would not use the HL engine for star wars anyway. I haven't even heard of anyone attempting such a thing besides these guys in here. Then again, I don't map for HL much anymore.

And I don't dream of Star wars, I don't dress like Anakin skywalker and I haven't played Xwing vs Tie fighter. :P

Are you using background music from the cd? It will end once the track is done. You can add a multimanager which trigger itself and the trigger_cdaudio. Just add the music lenght in the the value field.

in I wonder Post #16869
you can make anything a ladder(or a liquid)
give it this property:

skin

the value determines what the brush is, not the entity, valid ones are : ladder, water etc.. these have numbers like : -16
So if we did this on a existing brush entity, would the entity lose it's previous attributes, example func_wall or would it be both a func_wall and a func_ladder? :

in ok i know what prefabs r, how do i make? Post #16868
A face is a side of a brush. Combining faces, but still remain as one brush can create the most evil invalid solids ever. Beware

Your light entity has it's brightness gone bad. Increase the last numbers in the brightness field. red green blue <these>

Save. Quit hammer. Restart hammer. Try recompiling. Otherwise it could be when one of those brushes goes really wrong and has one of it's vertexes running off into the infinate void.
Post it in the problem map vault.

You can remove textures that can't be seen by painting them with the null and skip texture. Then they won't be rendered or stored, decreasing the amount of tex memory needed.

The current cs entity guide only contains the common entities. I didn't have the expert fgd when I made the guide so It's not complete. Therefor to reduce the number of "How do I put guns on the ground" sort of threads could anyone please finish the guide. I can't. I don't have CS anymore + I hate it. ;)

Tell me if you do and send the stuff to Andy.

Not that new... It's been around a while and from what I hear it's beginning to actually work... If you just play. Steam makes life a little more difficult for us mappers.

Steam when it was new. You couldn't even play on a LAN! It was that bad. There were no LAN server options at all.
