Theres no custom content in it.

I tried to submit just the link to the map in the submission section for the contest, but it wouldn't accept without a file. I will submit a link to the map here, if it's ok. I'll wait for your answer.

I've got a map ready to submit, but I keep getting a 'page not found' error. My file is about 15mb zipped. Is there an email I can send my submission to? Thanks.

Yeah info_landmarks make a HUUUUUUGE difference. May wanna double check to see that some of your landmark names aren't the same as some of the other landmark names in the map.

yep quicksilver made the models. look on my site in the models section for power-up Mario & Luigi models too. I bet if ya ask quick, he'd be happy to make a peach model for ya...he's an awesome modeller..he made a spongebob squarepants model which is perfection. It's in the models section on my site, too.

I've got quite a nice mario.wad and a couple maps that could easily be converted over to the mod, if ya want. You gonna give the maps prefixes like cs maps, ya know, like mm_mario or somethin like that?

Also included with the maps are some models, Mario, Luigi, Cannon_Guy; as well as some mario sounds. Be sure to give proper credit if you use them and also if you use my maps, I'd like to convert them over if you don't mind. I have 2 Mario maps in my profile and will add a few more now.

yeah the origin brush is a texture. Make a door. Don't make it too thick. Then make a small brush along the door (where the hinge would be) witht the origin texture. Then, click the door, hold ctrl, and click the hinge. To entity. Now you have a swinging door instead of a door which slides open.

in Map doesn't compile Post #2635
Depending upon how complex your map is, it may take a long time to compile. There is nothing wrong when the compile stops on Leaf Thread.

Compile times can take from a minute to days...I had one compiling for 7 days once. Usually, when I compile, I leave the computer sit for a while, then come back. On more complex maps, I compile overnite.

in Movie Map Contest FileSize Post #2615
Is there a limit to filesize of the movie map contest?

I got one that's 3.21 mb zipped...and it says it's too big of a file when I submit it.

Thanks

in Music in maps Post #1660
You'll need some sort of trigger (a button, invisible place on floor, etc) to start the music.

Make a folder in the sound folder of your mod.
Name the folder whatever you want.
Find the wav file you want (has to be 22.025hz 8bit mono)
Name the wav something simple.
Place the wav in the folder you made.
Now place an ambient_generic in your map where you want the music.
Name the ambient.
Browse to the wav file in the folder you made.
Set it's properties.
Flags: start silent / not looped
Now make the trigger to start the music.
Have the trigger target the name of the ambient.
Set time limits, making sure it won't overlap itself.

Hope this helps.

:)
