Went over to a freind, he grabbed a needle and some ink and started making it real. 4 hours of work and it was done.

Just imagine what that tattoo would look like when you're old and wrinkly. Sure it'd be cool then.

I wouldn't want to do a tattoo at home, too much to go wrong with contamination, and if you wanted something done on a sensitive area of skin, or a larger tattoo done, I doubt your friend would have any local anesthetics to make the process bearable. Cool nonetheless though.

You guys don't see the art in tattoos! How special would that tattoo be if I sat down and payd some dude to do it with a machine? Homemade tattoos often get better if they are done serious like this one... And I guess that you're not really in on tattoos if you say things like Strider just did, I mean, that's half the point of it man! Look on them when Im 80 and know that I lived life the way I wanted, and even if I don't want it later I can't remove it, it repsresents a part of my life! And that's a bad pic of it (my brothers camera sucks) so you can't see that it's a rose growing out to become a skull, I'll get better pics later if you want... Tattoos = memories for life

Tattoos area a pretty lousy form of art, unlike ruining a canvas you're actually ruining something that's always 'with' you. Something that can't be removed, and can easily be regretted. Not to mention tattoos are just plain ugly and make you look like a bit of a bogan (here anyway).

Well if that's your up-tight-opinion then I'll respect that, we just don't share the same view on life. Everybody can't see the beauty in tattoo's just like everybody can't hear the beauty in a song. That's life.

I was knocked and my pen (felt tip and black) stabbed me in the side of my finger tip, the ink has stayed there for over 12 weeks, is this considered a tattoo?

Ugly, tbh.

mcmitcho: I think you can call that an accidental-tattoo?

And FU zl.

Well, he is right there. Bloody ugly.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 10:58:59 UTC Post #203237
Yawn. Tattoo's were all like "OMG REBEL HE/SHE R COOL". Nowadays, it's nothing.

I would also bet that about a million people have had the whole "skull/rose" idea, so I fail to see the "uniqueness" of it all.

All You Ever Needed To Know About Tattoos
By rowleybob

1. I think they're cool, if you can come up with a good reason to get one--I can't think of any, or I would get one. If I were in the military, I probably would get a unit tattoo.

2. Women should never get tattoos, period. Makes them look trashy or stupid, or both. The only exception is the "ass tattoo" some girls have on their lower lower back--and then only if they're smoking gorgeous. For some reason I find those trashily irresistible.

3. Um, I can't think of anything else, so I guess that's all you need to know... ever. :)

That's must be why you took the time to make this thread and write all this out.

Tattoos generally suck. The End.

Honestly tattoos are horrible things, for example my father was forced to get one for being naughty. It looks horrible after so many years because it loses colour and generally doesn't help when applying for jobs because they read you like a book and don't give you a chance to show how awesome you might be.

Oh and Zombieloffe can say it looks like shit if he wants...I don't like it either plus your picture quality sucks...

Seriously, tattoos are ugly.
All I need to know is that I live my life and you sit by your computers
That makes no sense, because everyone lives his life and you were also sitting by your computer when you made this thread. You just don't wanna face the fact most people here think tattoos are ugly.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:17:23 UTC Post #203247
That's bullshit :P My father works with handicapped (don't mind the spelling) and old people, and he has tattoos on his hands and lower arm, he got the job. And he's working with OLD people! Tattoo's doesn't really matter anymore, it's on thing if you got "hells angels" tattood on your neck or something, but all the tattoos Im going to get are going to be possible to cover if I want to... But the older I get the more obvious they are going to get, 40+ and my hands are coverd!

btw, why are you throwing shit on tattoos when I like them? I made this thread so that you can give mature comments, not talk about how much you dislikes tattoos and how big assholes you are. So please, mature comments or don't give any comments.

You again make no sense. You ask for our opinion, we give you our opinion, most of us here seem to dislike it because they dislike tattoos.

What's not mature about that? ZL for example said 'ugly, tbh', that's his opinion. You instantly take that offending and you reply back with 'FU ZL'..and now you tell US to be mature?

Seriously, stop whining Tosse.

I have to agree with FresheD.

Don't be upset if someone disagrees with you.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:27:34 UTC Post #203252
You're the whiners, bitches!

A mature comment is something like this "I don't really like tattoos so in my opinion it doesn't look too good. But if you like it then I guess it's up to you..."

Is your brains too slow?
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:28:34 UTC Post #203253
Don't be so sensitive... how long have you been here again?! ;)
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:30:28 UTC Post #203254
Why would 'Ugly, tbh' not be mature?
It's just a shorter way of saying 'I find it ugly'.

You want to hear our opinions right?
Don't get pissed because people disagree with you.

Stop being a fucktard Tosse.

Im just in a really bad mood... So much stuff happening! Im so far behind in school, my girl just left me, stress at work... FUCK! the only good thing right now is my guitars and my tattoos...

And I know... TWHL is the one place that you can be sure to get flamed on...

so I just flame back now...

And If you've been an addict it's hard to you know... Live without it...

Ah fuck it...

And you're the fucktard, freshed.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:35:21 UTC Post #203256
Stop having so much self-pity.

If you have problems in real-life, then go solve them.

Far behind in school?
  • Instead of wasting time here in this thread getting upset about everyone go learn.
Your girl left you?
  • Shame, but don't let it get you down.
Stress at work?
  • Calm down a bit and settle things.
TWHL is the one place that you can be sure to get flamed on...
Then what are you still doing here?
And you're the fucktard, freshed.
Because i'm trying to proove you wrong?
Oh yes, I forget, you get upset about people disagree-ing with you.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:44:22 UTC Post #203257
It's not self pity, it's lack of energy.

And I need all my spare time to just relax so that I can rip the horns of the bull you know.

Im thinking about quiting work.

Im not upset for you disagreing with me, it's the way you do it on.

But this is what the tattoo is all about.
Keeping focus when bad stuff is happening. You see that it's a rose, but insted of the flower a skull has grown up. Sort of a symbol for this kind of situations, insted of letting me get beat'n down by all this that's happening I gotta use the new found ager and all the bad feelings and do something creative about it. So far I've written 3 songs, gotten one tattoo and started on one map. You understand? The tattoo is a constant reminder of all that, keep focus nomatter what. It's fucking hard but it's also very possible...
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:46:27 UTC Post #203258
I don't like the tattoo. I think it's stupid to get one on your leg. Why get one wear nobody will see it? I also have no idea what it is...

I plan on getting a Sepultura tattoo on my left forearm.

I was being as friendly and mature as possible, with 'stop whining tosse' I ment you shouldn't get so upset about people disagree-ing with you, 'stop being a fucktard tosse' was because you replied as a idiot wich was really unnecassery.

So 'ugly, tbh' made you upset?
Seriously, was that offending?

You can't aspect everyone being extremely nice to you, that isn't how it goes on the internet and real-life. Sometimes I may come across rude, but then it isn't instantly offending.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:52:38 UTC Post #203261
I like your tattoo--it's an original idea with the skull poping out where the flower would be--but maybe with some color it will be better. It's definitley unique imo.

But, it really doesn't matte what I or anyone else thinks. It's a personal thing--doesn't get much more personal than indelibly marking yourself--... who cares if other people don't like it?

edit: FresheD speaks the truth.
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 13:57:24 UTC Post #203262
FresheD, I want to end that discussion, it's not going anywhere. Sorry if I was rude to you, but I was in a really bad mood.

Rowl: Im planning on making the leaves dark green, and add more roses, and some of them in deep red, just to fill it out a bit and make it look bigger :) So more leaves and thorns!

btw, it's really hard to get a pic of it, the leg isn't exactly the easiest thing to take a pic of, specialy not with a bad cam that doesn't even have makro!

Fine, but try to think about what I said.
Really, I haven't ment to offend you at all.

I'm thinking about a swastika across the chest...
Posted 17 years ago2006-11-19 14:33:29 UTC Post #203270
What's a swastika?

I want a cross on my arm, a cool ship I drew on my lower back, and my last name over my stomach... And some more, I know that I want my arms, legs and back full with tattoos, I just don't know WHAT to get. But that's fine with me, it's good if it takes time to really think each tattoo through

6th_monkey, the part of life that's still going!

And yeah, we are probably going to but some more color on it, dark green leaves and some more roses you know, so it's not really done yet, just the first part of it. It might take a long time to finnish.
