Anyone familiar with this game?

Its a battle game (actually its just a deathmatch type of game) where the player controls a tank. To score frags, you must take out other tanks controlled by other players (if on lan or Internet), or AI controlled tanks. The battlefield is very large with weapons all over the place. You can use these weapons to destroy other tanks. Here are some weapons you may find:
  • Wasps. Autotarget, but short range.
  • Avenger. Big ass machine gun mounted to the side of your tank
  • MLRS. Missile launcher.
  • Cruise Missile. Powerfull missile that automatically locks on targets.
  • Le Bomb Nuclear! A NUKE! Will destroy every tank cought in its blast radius.
  • MANY MORE!
The weapons you use have an effect on the terrain as well. The nuke for example, creates a massive crater!

This is me armed with 141 nukes. Yes, i cheated, by modifying the weapon files (just txt based). Normally you only get 1 nuke. Unless you pickup a superammo crate, this adds another clip of the current weapon. Normally, it would add another nuke. In the background you can see the explosion of one: http://themightyatom.nl/screenshots/treadmarks_nuke.jpg

I have the full version, but there is a free demo version available here: http://www.ldagames.com/treadmarks/
The demo version offers all the weapons, but only 3 playable tanks and 3 playable maps are available. The full version also allows you to edit weapons, like more ammo, faster firerate, number of shots etc. This is not possible with the demo version.

Have fun! :nuke:

You may find the camera hard to control. To enable free look, do this:
  • In the options, make sure the camera mod Funky is selected.
  • Ingame, rightclick once to make the camera follow your mouse, pretty much as in FPS games.
