I just can't figure the damn thing out. Texture lighting just won't work for me... I put the damn lights.rad on my ZHLT folder and set:

EMERGLIGHT TAB2x 255 255 200 1000
(and other textures with their default values)

I compiled it with both ZHLT 3.4 Final and ZHLT Compile GUI X2 each with different results.
NOTE: In ZHLT Compile GUI X2, RAD settings are:
-extra (resamples the lighting, providing a smoother, better looking lightmap)
-customshadowwithbounce (don't know what it does but it sounds good)
-lights (Loads definitions for texture lights)

Result of ZHLT 3.4 Final:

Result of ZHLT Compile GUI X2:

As you can see, the result of ZHLT 3.4 Final has sort of correct lighting but still has not texture lighting on EMERGLIGHT texture. On GUI, it's just plainly full bright... Help?!?!

EMERGLIGHT TAB2x 255 255 200 1000
1000 is really too low. Try higher values (5000, 10000 or even 20000 (depends on the actual size of the light emitting texture), or anything in between).
-customshadowwithbounce
This parameter allows you to use custom colored shadows, like this: http://www.themightyatom.nl/screenshots/custom_shadow_color.jpg. Note that this increases compile time a lot, so i don't recommend it.

Don't know about Compile GUI X2, never used it. Try my Compilator.

I put the damn lights.rad on my ZHLT folder...
That might be your problem. It's supposed to be in your "Valve Hammer Editor/tools" folder, where the ZHLT compile tools should also be. Maybe that's what you meant, I'm just making sure you don't have them in some external folder. Still, it doesn't seem like that would give you the effects you're seeing here.

.............. don't talk about thing u don't know. I asked that question because Vicious is a character from an anime, the enemy of Spike. And yes, I know what "vicious" means, it's like "vicioso" in spanish, OMG IT'S SO DIFFERENT! (sarcasm)
