On the map I've been working on, doing a full compile, I've been getting this very strange lighting error.

I'm not sure what's causing the error, and the blocks of lighting do not particularly correspond with the in-editor brushes.

either a leak or a texture that's not supposed to be used on a brush

Well, my compile log mentions neither, and so far the only tool textures I've used are nodraw and the skybox.

Pretty sure Brett is talking about the roof texture: is it meant for a model?(check the vmt) Sometimes you can use those materials on brushes and sometimes not.

If not, possibly a weird lightmap value could do that? All else fails maybe it's just a weird face error caused by a invalid solid, maybe try rebuilding the roof...

seemed to be solved by recreating the brush
