Hello good people still clinging to GoldSrc. I just finished creating an online WAD editor. It has pretty basic functionality compared with Wally, but it does everything I've ever used Wally for. For transparent textures, it automatically moves (0, 0, 255) Blue to to palette index 255 (Users of Wally will appreciate not having to do this manually). I hope the community will find it useful, and please feel free to give me freedback, criticism, bug reports, or cuss me out and tell me how bad my WAD editor is. You can find it here.

Hellooo there. I used the program (just to test it) and it is good. It works great, no unneeded stuff. You add the image (texture) you want and then add more. When you are OK with your textures, you click Save, and it is done. Although you still need to make the image seamless if you need it, so I guess having to use it, you will need to have GIMP or PhotoShop. I suggest you to add if the image will be saved in as it is, or save it, while making it seamless. That would be cool, and you won't need image editing program. I am giving it 7/10 because of it's simplicity, and because it is Online. You don't really need to download Wally. As a conclusion, I recommend this tool for simple WAD designers. But if you are more experienced one, just use Wally.
Good job buddy. 👍

"But if you are more experienced one, just use Wally."
Or HL Texture Tools.

Personally, I don't like the idea of web apps, but hey, it's really good for beginners who wanna make a WAD real quick. I will post a review sometime soon.

I didnt even know Wally could do that. I've been missing out all these years! Thanks for all the feedback friend!

I didn't either, but it's just so convenient. The justification was that it can be used on any web-enabled device. I look forward to the review.

Well then, for that matter, I'm gonna use my phone for the review. :)

Since when? I don't remember Wally having a feature like that. Though there's this program called AutoSeamer that I once used in 2015. (it's not really good, lol)

No, Wally can't really do that. But this doesn't mean that your program can't accomplish what Wally can. Seamless texture converting will be cool, both for Wally and your program. But I don't really think that they will ever add it. In fact, they probably have forgotten that it exists. But in your side...well, this is a different story. You can do whatever you want, though.

I've never used a seamless texture tool, but only because I didn't know they existed. It sounds like a great tool though. I'm going to have to find an existing one and see if I can figure out how it works. If I made one, I would probably make it a stand-alone tool instead of just limiting it to Half-Life textures so a wider audience is able to get use out of it.
On second thought, after a quick google search, there apparently is no shortage of online seamless texture editors. Perhaps it would be better just to add the feature into the WAD editor.

If you have a new version of Photoshop, it's really easy to make seamless textures using content aware - to the point that it's ridiculously hassle free. Offset your image so the edges are in the centre of the image, clean the seams, offset back, clean, and repeat ( usually never have to ) until it's clean.
