I'd heard about GoldSrc allowing you to edit the colormaps of any entity that supports them, and had edited the scientist model to support colormapping. However, for whatever reason this model crashes my game with a "Cache_TryAlloc: 1433893744 is greater than free hunk" error?

After having looked this problem up online, I've heard that it's because I haven't allocated enough memory to Half-Life or that I don't have enough RAM, but any other custom model seems to work fine when placed in valve_addon and I don't know why my model would be causing this error. Here's a link to the models if needed; I zipped all of them together just in case the "submodels" (scientist01.mdl and so on) are needed.
I will admit that my PC doesn't have the greatest amount of RAM, only 8 GB, but even so I really doubt that the problem lies in a lack of memory.

UPDATE: This problem had been solved on the TWHL Discord - apparently Remappable textures are always loaded from the model itself, but the Scientist's QC file originally had the $externaltextures command which tried loading the textures from their own model. No clue if tagging people works on here, but thanks to The303 and MoltenEQ for the help.
