Combat House was made for fast gameplay, lots of ways to get in and out of the house. It is a made up house it's some thing that was in my head and I needed to make it. The map runs best at 400 gravity, there's one big TV screen in a room with a button.The trap can be found in the super charger room. The map has a good weapon lay out. Thanks to the people who gave me freedback with out that the map may of stayed at V1. Also thanks to Knife_TSGK Ingame Map beta tester, and map test hosts.

k i'm quite the noob at source, so i'll just give you my uneducated, general impressions. first of, i really enjoy seeing suburban residential in games, i dunno, probably because it's easier to relate to than repetative city environments, and you don't see suburbs mapped to often.

House is fairly made if not a bit hastily put together. The layout is not a realistic nor does it even try to be (i have to keep reminding myself it's dm). there is no clear front or back of the house which would be nice if it was--front door, doorbell, sidewalk, etc. Textures and brushwork are varied if not erratic, but no errors i could see, which is nice. Lighting is pretty bleh, buy you have a couple nice effects like the fireplace that look good. (i guess i like sharp contrast: super bright areas and dark dark areas) maybe add some sound too?

Pluses:
+there are lots of things to play with, weapons and lots of neat stuff for the gravity gun. VERY well done.
+Lots of neat gadgets to play with and look at, though the could be perfected into more specific things like secret passages, traps. would also be neat to have some func_tanks (i don't know what they're called in source) or user controlled turrets.

I'll give a solid 3 for fun and there is a lot packed into it. If the map had a clearer, cleaner theme, this could easily rate a 4 or 5.
