I think something is wrong, I can't pass the first level( or it's just a level ? =)) ). I'm going on the big floor button, but immediately after I step out of it, it returns to its "off" position.

@The_(c)Striker: You're supposed to use the box. Push buttons with MOUSE2.

You can bug up the ventilation fan so it spins when it's off and is still when it's on. Also you can get stuck in yellow doors. Also I found a way to bring the box up to the second floor and when I put the box in the ventilation fan it doesn't spin at all.

It worked when I tried replacing the dlls with the ones that came with the Static Friction demo, although it has a tendency to freeze. I also got stuck in the corridor with the vent. Does passing it involve bringing the crate up to the second floor?

I just finished it. I rather liked the style of the puzzles in it, and I liked the style of the architecture in the first map. I just wish it was longer though.

+ rather clever puzzles
+ architecture in the first map
+ awesome
  • too short
  • lack of architecture in the second map
Although I don't think that I'm the best of reviewers, I still give it 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.

alright I replaced the cl dlls w halflife's and its working, ill check it out. Edit: Nothings working/ the green switches aren't doing anything when I right click them. Maybe because of dlls...

I never finished the second map. Replacing the DLLs ultimately breaks the game. The 6D DLLs are custom coded by Daubster himself.

The dlls seemed to work fine on my steam HL as far as I remember. I could try recompiling them when/if I find the source code.
Then again, as far as I can remember, the code was in a fairly wonky state during alpha stages and hasn't been properly tested on any systems other than mine and Rimrook's.

I tried to use a box as a ladder, but when I reached the ground I got killed (by a trigger_hurt?). Moving a box while stepping into a map change thingy causes the game to hang. I'm guessing you have a pointer to whatever you're moving (which in this case points to the box entity) which becomes invalid after map change?

Yeah, I think I remember the levelchange issue. And yes, that's pretty much what happens when it crashes. Again, sorry for the unfinishedness of the code, it's in an alpha stage after all.

Atleast i've seen some of the mapping so far. Very nice beggining area, my jaw dropped and I began to drewl. Very solid architecture and "extremely" nice texturing! Did you make that jet bike model yourself?

Ok I just finished it. The architecture, audio, textures and models were great, the visuals were really extraordinary. The puzzles were decent. It had many bugs but that's to be expected from an alpha version. I choose not to rate it, I'll rate later versions instead, but I can say I really enjoyed playing it. It's not just another Half-Life mod, it stands out from the crowd.

uhm... there will be no later version. This is all there ever will be.

There are several developmental maps in the folder, as well as all of the RMFs and mapping resources like prefabs and the 6D FGD, also all of the models and artwork involved.

If you run the guardiantest map, immediately input god mode. You'll see why...

It is entirely up to Daubster what he wants to do with the source code. But I'm labelling this as abandonware.

KK reviewing as i play right now1

!splash no load for me (is there one?)
!remove your config.cfg so we can keep our own binds =)
+first room has awesome textures and sound and the snow is cool
+cool speeder model
+cool custome "null" use sound
+wow cool door sound, textures look NSish, but sweet =)
++love those rotating modeled switches and it's sounds
!push doesn't work on the first pushable, only pull (is this an option or a bug?)
+the "glistening" effect on the shield barrier is sweet!
+can't get the box on the button

This is where i've left off, will continue/rate later. if someone can pm me a hint for getting the box on the button, i'd greatly appreciate it!

Press Mouse 1 while aiming at the box to move it with your telekinesis (provided the .dlls work for you)
