When I compile this map the compiler mentions leak upon leak but I can't find any and neither pointfiles lead me to anything. Also Alt+P brings up nothing.
It seems that the textures from barney.wad did get included in the compile? Atleast there's a t1a1c.wa_ file, which after renaming to .wad I could add into J.A.C.K. and then compile the map fine(without the texture .wad the compiler just crashed, like you described).
I only got halflife.wad setup in J.A.C.K., next to xeno.wad, liquids.wad and decals.wad. And zhlt.wad, I guess barney.wad is from Blue Shift?
Replaced barney textures with halflife textures. Compiled. Nothing. So then I closed the map, removed barney.wad completely and opened it again. Still nothing.
You're using very old compile tools, update to Vluzacn's Half-Life Tools, available here. Get that and try recompiling. There's a good chance that upgrading to better compiles tools will not fix the leak, because a leak a caused by human error.
