Are you using the standalone version? I checked and found no errors, maybe something on your side.
Also, it doesn't show up on steam - is this intentional? Is there more than just placing it in sourcemods?
This archive contains all the necessary files. But if you want to use it in steam, then download version of sdk 2013 singleplayer "upcoming"
But at the moment there is no support for the Steam version.
Otherwise just unpack this archive and run the file Mistake.bat

worked ok for me...but very buggy in places, gameplay was dire, bored in 3 minutes.
I updated the version (maybe some textures(water+glass) were missing on the some maps.
But what do you suggest to fix the gameplay? I don't understand.

mistake overall is a very barebones and dull gameplay mod with a lot of iffy level design. theres not much you can do when it comes to the gameplay. however, mistake -1 improved on this severely. speaking of mistake -1, will you ever work on a port of that?

Don't work knife. It's invisible. Why? Use standalone version.
When you go to the problem level (7), the solution to this issue will appear on your screen, if you did everything correctly, the problem will disappear.
I tried r_drawviewmodel 1 but wont show the knife. I even added another model in the custom folder and added a line to gameinfo. Still dont work.

This is not a model or standalone version problem. Which is solved by type "restart" command (in console). When you go to the map(7), a solution to this problem appears on your screen.
To solve the problem, go to the level (where this knife is - map 7) and type restart in console.

Some of the light sources' light textures are extremely huge from a distance for some reason. Should probably fix it at some point.
