TWHL forum activity is somewhat low and we have many threads that expire just because of that 3 month limit. Imo, it should either be lifted or increased to 5 or more months.
For me this is just a rule that creates redundant threads.
You cannot reply to threads that have been inactive for more than three months. If you really want to post in this thread, you can submit a Thread Bump Request. It is recommended that you just create a new thread.

6 months.

Also a functionality that enables long term members to revive threads. (2 years or more).

How about, instead of long-term members being able to revive threads, we have a rule where you can revive a thread as long as it was made after you joined the forum.
