I had no idea that you have such an expansive website.

I'm still astounded that you managed to fit so much space in such a small area. I mean, this map could be a 1v1 deathmatch map. It's so deceptively spacious.

Expect to pay USD150-USD200 for a new 17-inch LCD.
I'd recommend checking craigslist and Ebay too, and would expect to pay significantly less (around USD100).

Let's all point and laugh at Jeff for using a CRT now.
point
HA!

@Jeff: Win.

You won't get this message before you come back, so instead of wishing you luck I'll say I hope it went well!

I disagree. You could probably kill someone if you threw your camera really hard.

Pretty damn good.

+ VM work was mostly outstanding
+ Choice of textures was outstanding
+ LOTS of variety in textures
++ The transition from the first stage to the second, hyper-surreal area made me jizz my pants.
+ Surreal lighting effects and sound effects throughout made for a convincing atmosphere.
+ Scripting was top notch.
+ The consistently changing environment was very cool.

+/- The surreal feel wore off in most areas in the second stage. Other than the central area with the "liquid" sky, it wasn't very dreamy at all.
+/- The bar that connected the electrical wire lied perpendicular to the wires. It never actually bridged the gap in the wire.
+/- It was easy to be distracted by something like a headcrab or a button when something important was happening elsewhere on the screen.

- Scaling was off in a lot of places, most notably the bathrooms and most of the doors (they were VERY thin or VERY wide). The scaling didn't contribute to the surrealism, so I can only assume you didn't do it on purpose.
- Those sinks deserve a special mention. Sorry, they just looked terrible.
- A few bugs meant I had to restart a few times. I once got stuck in a situation where I had to take fall damage to proceed, but couldn't sustain the damage without dying.
-- I was able to jump out of the tram at the end. I know you didn't have time to, but hey. It's not something that can just be overlooked.

Just barely shy of 5 stars in my book, mostly because of some frustrating bugs.

So what was "the truth"? :)

I didn't ask you why your life was shit, I told you that it isn't.

A) When you rant about how you're embarrassed over some girl, then tell us to make fun of your shitty life, there's an implication there that your rant has something to do with your shitty life. Now you're lying about it, trying to play it off like it's nothing, which calls into question the truth of everything you say.
B) Your profile proudly proclaims that you think you don't have a life. "Countless" people wouldn't have betrayed you if you don't fucking know anybody.
C) If your father used you, you wouldn't go telling somewhere like TWHL about it.

You're asking for pity by exaggerating things, probably subconsciously.

Among the plethora of other things I could say, I'll just say that your life is hardly shitty just because friend A told girl B that you like her.

You're 14, emotions are running high, and you've never had a girlfriend. I sympathize.

Ask girl A if she put in a good word for you. If not, ask her why the hell she didn't. If she's a friend, she was probably just trying to do you a favor.

Edit: by the way, don't forget that bitches be trippin'

I've always felt that FEAR's replica soldier AI behaved miraculously human. The first game, not the second. They went full retard in Project Origin.

They were sneakable, they did use impressive tactics, and they actually interacted with and verbally coordinated attacks with their npc buddies.

It went so far beyond simple tactics like "throw grenade if there's no line of sight" and "hide behind a wall if there's a wall".

Maybe you can still recover your files from the depths of your hard drive. At least, it worked for me when the same thing happened to the Source SDK.
Use a different computer to search for recovery software to minimize anything new written to your HDD.

I have a first-gen Bose Companion 2 set from my uncle, and it's the weirdest thing. There's some radical equalizer changes that go on if headphones are plugged into them, most notably that low bass gets about twice as loud. I've never seen speakers do that other than these, but then again I've only owned a handful of speakers in my life.

Says the man who had players use the elevator ceiling for no reason. Seriously, why are we supposed to think to use the elevator ceiling :o
