try re-creating the ambient_generic from scratch with no flags ticked. sometimes that does the trick

hahaha that's so great.
press the button and die XD

I like those textures. If you trigger the warning siren a second time, it should stop.

For the doors, i think the best thing you can do is make them inflict a lot of damage to kill anyone who gets trapped.

You're probably very used to your keyboard. As are people who use Flow / Swype like Archie and myself.

SWIFTKEY for the win!!! Although Microsoft just acquired them for some nice change. It's a full-featured keyboard with word prediction and a slightly different algorithm than the native Android 'swype'. I demo'd their keyboard for around 4 months when i had my Samsung Galaxy S3. The trial expired and i figured i like it so i tossed them money to get the rest of the features back. I think it was $4 USD. But it's well worth it.

I have 5 fans on my computer. I have 2 very large ones on the top and the side which are on all the time. The biggest is an air intake (mounted on the side) and the smaller of the large fans acts as an exhaust (mounted on top)

I have 2 120mm fans on the front acting as air intakes and 1 120mm fan on the rear acting as an exhaust.

I have cross winds acting on my processor heat sink and everything works like a charm.

Hey man if you're having fun, why go anywhere else?
I like source for the amazing Input / Output system, and you have a lot more control over the AI. But it takes more effort to create something with the WOW factor

Haha damn dude that's quite a lot. You're not pissing over my journal at all, you are sharing your experience and that's definitely appreciated. The battery life is fine because i mainly grabbed this thing to keep on my desk at work so i can map on lunch breaks. I do want a new keyboard though. This one lacks basic buttons such as delete and esc.

Hah well the thing is you need to hold your finger in the center of the screen or you spin uncontrollably. I haven't tried mapping without a mouse but i'm afraid to TBH. I just went to sledge-editor.com to download, didn't check the store.

Yeah i noticed that one but valve's are setup a bit different.
a scripted_sequence triggers after the animation is played. so if you just use the sequence to trigger the door, you won't get the scanning effect during the animation
This example shows how to do that

Take note that the landmark specifies placement in the level relative to the players position.
Courtesy of Archie: In this example, the Player is Green, the info_landmark is Orange, and the trigger_changelevel is red.

I backed the kickstarter for Exploding Kittens. I very excited to receive the game but was honestly underwhelmed =[. The cards are funny but it's tough to teach people the game the first time you play, most people lost interest after the first round and we usually defaulted back to Cards Against Humanity.

Speaking of CAH, My friend owns the largest set: The Bigger Blacker Box and the cards in that set are amazing. (Example: An alternate reality where boxes store things inside people) For Christmas, I bought that friend a set of similar cards: Crabs Adjust Humidity. They fit right into the mix and are a welcome addition to the cards we've gotten used to.

We have also played Superfight which is a game that actually requires some imagination. TL;DR of the rules: Two people pick a few cards, 1 is a super hero, 1 is a weapon, 1 is a setting. The two competing people argue who's superhero / weapon combination would win in a battle. The other people vote and the winner continues on. There are PLENTY of combinations and the arguments are always hilarious.

Most of these games are played with 4-6 people with a few beers and pizza. Good times.
