Saw WALL-E tonight. It's way better than a Pixar movie has any right to be, in my opinion (sorry Ant, they usually just lean too much towards the "family movie" end of the spectrum for me.) The annoying kids and piss-poor seating I got couldn't even ruin it for me.
Put a new avatar up. It's a bit dismal for my tastes though, so it may not stay for long.
I finally got the fabled Half-Life beta version to play on my on my dusty old Dreamcast!
It's got the HD pack and Blue Shift on it, too. Too bad the controls absolutely suck and the loading times are long. If this had ever been released it would have probably received pretty bad reviews.
I'm going to be seeing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in about thirty minutes. Woot!
Edit: Well, it was just about as good as the others, but I personally would have to say that George Lucas has lost his knack for pacing, if he ever even had one. Maybe it was just shear luck the other films turned out so well in this department, but I can certainly say that it doesn't remain the same for The Crystal Skull. The entire last hour or so is basically one prolonged action sequence, with no pauses at all. Tiresome. Plus, the action gets so entirely ridiculous at times, you just want to throw back your head and scream.
