W00t! I just started running my screen resolution at 1920?1200 while using hammer, and what a difference! I always have my grid size scaled down to 1-unit, so it's much less zooming for me now! YAI! 
I suck at life... 
Wewt! Just finally tried Hammer 3.5 Beta with Tommy's latest CS FGD--version 8--, and the in-editor model support is great! This FGD is absolutely essential if you the in-editor models to work for counter-strike.
