I compiled my first Half-Life 2 prop model. WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

Now I'll be able to make all kind of props for my machinimas that I'll want to produce ! This is so fucking cool !

Btw, my first model is a rock with basic uvmapping, made it in blender. The compiler calculated a mass of 18 kg.

Sorry but Softimage XSI tool is total "shite"(I just love the british version of shit more :X) compared to blender. At least for now, because I'm used to blender. Lol, I even don't know how to navigate in that program =))

I'm sick. I mean, super sick. Friday at school, me and a couple of guys joked with swine-flu masks from the local pharmacy, but the joke turned out into illness... well, at least it's not swine flu.
The problem is, I live in a village, and my flu or whatever is this got very bad in just too days. I mean, Sunday I had around 38C, and whenever I stood up, when I moved my image blurred(epic effect).
Monday I finally got o the doctor, and they said I was close to injections.
Fortunately I have my meds now and I feel better, but still bad.

I made some progress with another gmod map. I initally started it with the ideea of creating a stadium, but it came out a ridiculously different map. I want to call it gm_abandonedfield, but even this name doesn't describe it well !
Maybe... gm_striker's_ridiculous-mapping_ideas :))

As many of you already posted, I feel bad too. I caught a cold. But my mom felt horrible the other days, so I might caught it from her.

Oh, I measured myself today to see how taller than 1 year ago ( when I had 1,84 m) I am. I'm now 1,9 :D. I drink a lot of milk

Start pre-loading L4D 2 Demo. I know I don't have the money to buy it, but I surely can't miss the chance to play a mp with you guys.

I'm in a state of dreariness( or melancholia or how do you say it in english). For the jerks who only know the word "emo", I'm not in that kind of state, I have nothing to do with "emo".
And nostalgia too. I look at photographs with me at the age of 13( that's when I joined TWHL, I'm now 16) and feel so bad that I can't turn back in that time... what a wonderful holiday I had, I was so childish and could do whatever I wanted. Life was fun. Really fun. The nature was not so polluted ( I mean in my area) like it is now. I almost cry.

Please, somebody make it possible to travel in time !
Oh fuck it, I hope I get over this quickly. It's my obsession of thinking about the time that passes too fast.

Well, I've been missing from TWHL for a day(not that somebody cares anyway). I didn't had internet. In fact, I couldn't start the pc. In fact, I didn't had lights too. In fact, the whole village didn't had electricity. In fact, 5-6 villages from around here didn't had electricity and I don't know if it was a coincidence or not, but aprox. 50 km away there was still no electricity.
Reason : IT FUCKING SNOWS. Actually, it snowed, now it stopped. But there were also powerful winds and because of that, a tree in the near forest dropped over the high voltage lines, breaking a pole.

I learned at the light of 3 candles. How romantic is that huh? I felt like 1800'.

[EDIT] I also bought some headphones( 20hz-20,000 khz but the actual frequency starts from somewhere around 30 hz, I tested this with a tone in audacity) with a microfone. They arrived monday. The transport was free. I'm now more professional. That's what a friend told me at least =))

In my previous journal I said I just finished Crysis.
Well, know that I'm now a Crysis mapper. I'm on my way making my first map( it's kinda like a test map with all sorts of stuff).

Compared to hl\hl2 mapping, crysis mapping is awesomely fun.
Especially because there's no compilation process. You just press ctrl+g and the 3D view instantly becomes your play view.

I just finished Crysis. Damn I feel bad, I wanted to be longer. This game is awesome. It somehow reminds me about Delta Force ( ?!).

Played it on normal difficulty, even so it's somehow hard. The last part of it was full of saves and reloadings , until a text appeared on the screen : "Tip : You can alter the difficulty from the options menu" or something like that. But I kept playing it on normal :))

My system lets me play it on 1280x1024 , medium settings with high here and there ( like sound, volumetric effects etc), dx9 at a fps between 30-42.

I'm trying to figure out how to install dx10 on windows xp, I heard it's possible ( yes I have a dx10 compatible card...)

Weird. I feel weird. Maybe it's because the weather is suddenly changing into worse ? Don't know.
My life since the school started was absolutely normal. I get free time instead of math classes because last week my math teacher's fingers got chopped off from the left hand, today the biology professor came with an red eye ( looks like terminator) to school... a geography teacher will give birth in 1 month, same for an informatics teacher, but in 4-5 months...
Oh, oh, and the teacher that understands me the most. It's the physics teacher.
Me: "Oh, but theacher, isn't this supposed to be like blablabla"
Teacher: "Very good !"

I downloaded some c++ tutorials and books. If I can't learn the natural way c++, I'm gonna force myself to learn c++. Maybe my problem is the lack of concentration\boredom\laziness.

I also managed to make a solar reflector from some cardboard and aluminum foil. The only problem is that the foil is not stretched and it didn't reflect very well (I wanted to be more like a concave mirror) the sun beams. Even like that, the thermometer indicated 32 degrees C ( it was only 20 degrees C without the solar reflector). I plan on doing this on larger scales. I actually have a parabolic antenna that I want to use. I hope just not to put something on fire( it's like 1,5 in diameter).

I tried making a couple of artistic photos using my cellphone (3.2 MP) and my old car.

I don't feel ok. Psychologically, I mean. I have strange feelings that make me want to cry somehow. I don't know. It's like being 16 is the most beautiful part of the life... and I would like to stay so. But time passes inevitably. I have 3 years of school left... the most beautiful years of my life... are passing rapidly.
