Luck just so happens to be coming right at my way, first i managed to compile the hl2 code alone, and now I've sucessfully created a placeholder weapon for my mod.
Ignore the fullbright map.
EDIT: Watch for further journals as i will be posting wip models for my mod, ect ect.
Merged journal:
Guess what, i just got a new model for my (placeholder) weapon, the "Powner weaponz"
It looks quite ugly, but hey, i didn't assign any uv's to it, and it turned out pretty well for a untextured weapon!
EDIT: just a quick note, all the coding, modeling, and mapping was done by me, i didn't get any help other then setting up visual c++ to work with hl2.
--------------- Old Journal

Build: 2 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped
m0p deserves all the credit, i gave up after i got about 4 different linking errors and then a miracle happened, he found the solution.
Man those have got to be the most frustrating hours of my life.
Thanks m0p, for kindly guiding me through to the end
----Journal combination by your friendly journal combining moderator, TheGrimReafer <3EDIT: new barrel model
EDIT: Iron sights ftw!
No, it's not a animation, it's pretty darn accurate, i had to spend several minutes trying to get it correctly looking down the sights.

And it's supposed to be a usp socom model, but either the angle or the texturing makes it look anything but a socom.
EDIT: thanks reafer, i forgot to join the last journal.
EDIT: Yeah, that USP looks like a Walther PPK.
It will be changed, and it already has.
