Got Far Cry 2 today, based purely on mixed reviews and the cool looks off it. So, some screenshots for you lovely people!

Dawn in Africa. Rather peaceful.

If you plan to play all the way through, I recommend either taking it in doses, or play for like 8 hours a day.

I did the latter, and I loved it.

I find that people doing the in-between, say 3 or 4 hours a day, got bored rather quickly.

It's all preference, though, I guess. Have fun, regardless.

I think so to. So far, this has been the only game where i killed someone when it wasnt needed, and i felt semi-bad about it. I mean, he could have radioded those isreali commando's our trap so.. Seemed like a friendly guy though, he took the knife well. And hey, its not like he could have expected to survive after seeing a RPG hitting his villa!..

Anyway, really immersed in the story, i like the choices you can make.

I lost my game after reformatting and it will never see the light of day.

What also sealed the deal was the lead developer wrote to us gamers and actually said something like we can't comprehend the change in game-play and we fail.

What? We can't comprehend that it's boring?

I thoroughly enjoyed this game.

But the way I played it, I played at most 2-4 hours a week.

It took me five months to finish the game.

I usually play it for about 8 hours a day, but there are few days when I get to play, so I still haven't finished it. But I love the gameplay. Nothing is more satisfying then getting a soldier in the head with a sniper rifle from a quarter of a mile away, or when I managed to sneak into a heavily patrolled town, steal their shit, and sneak out again.
:D

Heh, i usually set a fire, then shoot a couple of them, set a few more fires, and watch the whole place go down in a see of flames. any remaining troops will be either picked off up close with a silenced tokarev, or a distance shot with the 1903 sniper.

I love this game so far, really enjoy exploring the landscape.

@Satch. Wow, just wow.

Btw, am i the only one that feels that this game is heavily inspired by the Jason Bourne series from Robert Ludlum? And im talking about the books here, not the slightly crappy movies.
