I was with my dad, in the showroom, picking out a new car.

I know, but I saw Yodalmans shoutbox post and couldn't resist.

It wasn't a shower anyway. We were in a bath.

I don't get it. Removing 'the' shows the entire 'showroom'. That can't be easily misconstrued at all. :/
