Yeah. Maybe I'll actually PLAY left 4 dead now. I bought it last month when it was half off, but i never installed it. I still have to finish the compo map too.
I wish there was a way to sell your steam games (along with the license of course)
Because i beleive i wasted $25 on L4D. I never play it. And when i do play it i doubt i'll play it for long.
Same with TF2, i never got into it. I don't really game anymore.... I just have ideas for cool maps, i map for an hour or so and that's it.
then i hang around here, or go play guitar or something.

Tet: browser forward (to compliment the thumb button back). I've gotten used to my current mouse and I don't particularly want to change. My mousewheel is screwed though :/
Jeff: liar! don't believe crap that you read on the interwebs without a legit source to back it up.
Hunter: your mouse has a pinkie button? What model is it?

'Jeff: liar! don't believe crap that you read on the interwebs without a legit source to back it up.' I think it was on the L4D blog or something similar, published by valve. I think. Steam news maybe? I dunno, maybe I'm imagining things.

I could have gotten a G9, but my G5 looked like it had superior ergonomics. That or I'm just too used to the shape to let it go. You have to grab the G9 with your fingers more. I think Logitech really struck gold when they first designed this basic mouse frame that is still in use today.
By the way, I'm not exactly sure what a pinky button is. Most mice that have opposing side buttons, you don't actually press with your pinky finger, it's more like your ring finger.

Yeah the G9 looks REALLY wierd and i'm not sure if i'm gonna like it, but it's a hell of a deal. I couldnt pass it up. And unless you lay your whole palm on the mouse (which i don't know a lot of people who do) then yeah, it's your ring finger, and not the pinky.
Did you log onto 'pets overnight.com' (10 points if you get that joke...)
I opted for the free shipping. 7-9 business days.
Can't find the style I want though: one with a button for the pinkie finger.

I don't know.
And JeffMOD - I haven't heard that but if it's true, i'm getting it.
In source i use my thumb button for mic chat, pinkie button for flashlight.
Oblivion, thumb is pick objects up, pinkie is cast spell.
Fallout 3, thumb is pick objects up, pinkie is VATS.

By far the comfiest i've used, too
I love my G5, though. The two thumb buttons make up for it.
