Oh yea,....I just found a picture of the newly released, official Iron Man 2 movie poster! And by the looks of it, his side kick "War Machine" is looking pretty damn sweet too! Man, this movie is going to ROCK!!!

Now, on a related superhero news story.......

I don't know how many of you here watch the Smallville TV show, but for any of you here that do, here are a couple of screen picks of the upcoming two hour special "Smallville: Absolute Justice". Before any of you say anything,.....yes I know, Hawkman, Doctor Fate and especially Stargirl look campy as hell! Man, they look like they got their costumes from the local costume shop. But hey, what can you expect from something meant for TV?:

Thank you ATDestroy.
Now, let me do here a quick poll:

Which of these two American comic book publishers do you think has had better track record on bringing their characters to animated or live action movies?

1. Marvel Comics
2. DC Comics

DC hands down.
Watchmen + Dark Knight
Edit: And the old Batman and Superman animated TV shows were awesome.

In my own, humble opinion, DC's characters tend to have a lot more depth than Marvel's.
The X-Men are a jolly bunch, but most of Marvel is just too cheesy to take seriously on the big screen.

I agree also, DC has had a better track record, but that's not to say they also have had some bombs too. Now, I just saw on DVD the following DC animated features: Green Lantern-First Flight, Wonder Woman and Superman Batman-Public Enemies. I recomend any one of these DVD's, they are great as far as animated superhero shows goes. A few weeks ago I also saw the Hulk vs Wolverine and Hulk vs Thor DVD, and I must say I liked them very much, but I enjoyed the DC DVD's even more.

whats up with stargirl? TITS OR GTFO.

I think they might be real tits, though small ones at that. Now, if they ever introduce DC character "Powergirl" on Smallville or anywhere else, she better damn have at least double D cups!

Brendan is too young to see tits.

What the hell? why did it post twice? any caring mods can delete the other one.

Mmm, could be a PHP hiccup. Anyway, an accidental double post here is no big deal, as long as it does not happen a lot.

Dear god, he edited his first post after realizing that he double posted!
TIME PARADOX.

LOL yeah, for some reason, it had the edit link on the first one, not the second one. Paradox indeed.

I think the fact that a picture Doctor Fate being posted here is what's jinxing this journal.

Wow, that Iron Man 2 poster looks like a bodgy Photoshop job.

Still, I want to see it.

I think that Iron Man 2 poster is all CGI rendered and meant to look like that. And if that really is the case, no Photoshop tweaking is needed. But you still might be right though...
