The only one on that page that even came close to making sense was the nitrous. Don't do NOS for a drilling, just get Novocain and call it a day. Novocain makes you numb, you can focus and get home and shit and not worry about it. NOS will mean you NEED a ride and what not.
When I got my teeth drilled, I was maybe 12, I tried to be a big man and basically told them not to give me anything. They didn't... You thought that was gonna end bad huh? Nope, it really didn't hurt that bad, not any worse than when you have a cracked/chipped tooth and air goes by it...

Have fun with that. If this was just for a cavity, you've nothing to worry about. If it's for a root canal... that'll probably be one of the weirdest feelings you'll ever experiences.

Whooooooooooooooooooooooups! Seems like somebody didn't brush his teeth xD.
Nah, kidding, damn cavities. I only had once a problem and had to go to the dentist, next time I went the dentist told me I have no more problems. I always feared dentists :\(I think pain in your teeth is the most annoying pain).

Drilling is not that bad, after the novacane which pinches for literally half a second you can't feel anything at all. I've got three already, gotta get two more done this month. (drink less soda kids!)
The only unpleasant part is the smell of your burning teeth.

Well, I'm back now, and it didn't hurt at all aside from the Novocaine. Unfortunately, the Novocaine kinda ruined my lunch because it didn't wear off for about four hours and half of my tongue was frozen. What's the point of solid food if you can't taste it?

I had a root canal and a crown fitted about 18 months ago. Terrible, terrible times! Still, it was better than previous experiences with NHS dentists and I get a titanium tooth core!
I'll probably just go with whatever they have on hand, even though needles in the gums fucking hurt.
That and Novocain.. you think you're a freaking cartoon man.

You may notice that there's no exclamation mark. I'm not excited.
And the dentist doesn't know if it will be a root canal yet.
