Blue Shift and Decay should be played before Op4, since Sheppard comes on the scene halfway through the incident. Unless you mean release order, in which case, carry on.

They kind of all happen at the same time, don't they? Blue Shift happens at the same time as Half-Life and Decay and Opposing Force is also sort of during it as well...

Blue Shift's intro is already finished by the time Half-Life starts, which probably means, chronologically, Blue Shift is first. Not sure when Decay starts in relation to it though.

Play Blue Shift second. Opposing Force starts about halfway through Half Life, while Blue Shift starts at the very beginning of HL and ends about halfway through.

For Valve these are the only games that exist. The truth is that Adrian Shephard nor any of the stories which Gearbox created simply doesn't exist for Valve.

shepard arive pretty early on actually grunts from Blue Shift: "just cos shepards team didnt make it means we get the crap jobs" so... i guess he was knocked out for quite a while id say
