As of yesterday, I now wear glasses.
This is going to take some getting used to.

It really bothered me at first too. Eventually the whole 'distortion thing' wont bother you at all. I don't even notice it anymore.

When I take my glasses off it's like: "OMFG DEPTH OF FIELD!"

Yeah it does take a fair bit to adjust to.

I still see clearly after 10 years of having a computer. I am expecting in the next years to notice problems though.

Honestly, it's always baffled me how people who wear glasses get by essentially without peripheral vision.

20/20 vision here.

I've got pretty perfect vision, but I honestly don't expect it to last.

I have 20/20 vision, but my dad has glasses, my mom has glasses, my little sister has glasses, and my little brother has trouble seeing.

I think im hitting the credit limit at the bank of luck.

glasses help facilitate you shoot lazers from your eyeballs PEW PEW PEW. Plus, it's an established fact that girls think sexy.

"Eventually the whole 'distortion thing' wont bother you at all." I haven't noticed it at all, tbh. The weight of the glasses on my nose is pretty much the only problem.

Haven't noticed any lack of it so far.
I don't need to wear then 100% of the time, but I'll probably start doing so soon. Also, aside from the dog, now everyone in my immediate family wears glasses.

pretty soon im sure you wont notice the weight, and when you take them off it will feel like really weak, invisible fairy is trying to steal your nose.

glasses make me drowsy. I think it's the distortion effect of the curved lens. Also made me quit sports (and hence to gaming)

My father should use glasses. My mother can't see shit. My sister is nearly blind (correction is in the +10 range). Yet I somehow get by. I started noticing a focusing difference in my left eye a few years ago, but I'm so stubborn I haven't yet visited an ophthalmologist.

Have fun Jeff. Now you have one more thing to carry and one more thing you can accidentally forget at home when you go out.
