I started mapping for DOD source and when I do the skybox it doesn't work. It looks as if I didn't put a skybox at all. I used a dod skybox from the valve developer wiki but it didn't work. Does anyone know what is wrong? :quizzical:

What skybox did you use?

First you apply the SKYBOX texture and in Map Properties you type a name such as sky_day_02 (HL2 Sky)..

And you typed the name from Wikipedia...Hmm sure you spelt it right? Show us a picture of your weird sky.

I used the Skybox "sky_dod_01_hdr " And yes I did do it all right. I put all the correct properties from here...

hmm.. that looks like an HDR muck-up to me

Yeah...If it does that hang on...Do you have all the other entities required for HDR...You can't just have the sky..I can't remember what but you need a few entities to specify light brightness. Rabid knows what I mean.
