When I try to include a wad in the bsp I get an error. First i type
-wadinclude redniktex.wad in the csg paramenters. Then when I start the compiling it says that: Window couldn't find the file. Do you know why? :zonked:

You don't need to write .wad at the end.

It still doesn't work!

Can you post the compile log?
When it says "Windows couldn't find the file", it's not talking about the wad file, but the map itself. There must be another error.

You need to provide the full path to the wad file, like this:

-wadinclude C:SierraHalf-Lifevalveredniktex.wad

That shouldn't be necessasy actually, the wad name without extension suffices. I'm with Kasp here: there's probably something else wrong.

I suggest getting a batch compiler from here.. a setup tutorial is also included:
HLCCv1.4
http://www.snarkpit.net/editing.php?page=files&game=HL&type=utilities

This does'nt require you to add wads.. just click the option, and it includes all the textures.

Thanks muzzleflash and unbreakable! If the full path doesn't work I will try Batch Compiler. :D

Post the whole compile log. :P The compile log is afterward saved in your RMF directory, named mapname.log.

You need to provide the full path to the wad file, like this:

-wadinclude C:SierraHalf-Lifevalveredniktex.wad

No you don't just: -wadinclude redniktex.wad
The compiler searches the wad in hammers wad list not in your whole computer. ;)
