I used mdldecompiler to get into the notepad and change the $scale to a smaller size for a model. Obviously, I changed the name in the notepad as well as to note save over the original file. Then I compile the new qc file. No problems them.
I open up hammer and try to put the new prop in, but as soon as I click on it the program crashes with a memory error...
Any ideas as to what is going on?
I am an extreme noob. I don't ever do anything like this but I am graduate student in cognitive psychology at Notre Dame and have been having to create a museum with exhibits for a research project. Obviously, scaling down the objects is an aboslute necessity to fit in enough "exhibits." I have not had much of a problem up until now.
Obviously, just a little side note, I have ENORMOUS respect for you guys that do this stuff hardcore, I don't understand how you can be so good as something that is so foreign to me, amazing stuff.
Thanks for any help!
PS If you need any more details as to the error message I can put it on here word for word at 10:15 EST when I get to the lab. Thanks.
