I've always loved the terminator franchise for good or bad, and now that i've seen the latest movie and T:TSCC has been canceled, I'm scouring the internet for more stuff to look at and play with.

So terminator fans list your terminator links here! Here's a couple cool ones i've found so far:

The Terminator Files - All things Terminator-related.
Terminator salvation flash game - Not great but fun. my username is CAPT TERROR = )
All terminator games every made at MobyGames - I'm downloading the 1991 pc game right now from bethesda software, but i'm expecting it to be pretty bad = )
Terminator: Apocalypse - A Half-Life 2 modification.
Terminator:C&C Generals mod

I remember seeing Terminator content for HL1 mods but i can't find it any more... searching PP and others right now with no luck = (

I honestly can't understand some people's obsession with certain movie franchises...

It's just so average.

I think scifi movies in general with post-apocalyptic themes do it for me. (yes i like the matrix universe too, though the 2nd movie was average and the third one was terrible) Plus it's set in LA what's not to like?!

)

What lights your fire then, if not shiny, terrorific endoskeletons with plasma rifles and nuclear fuel cells, bent on the destruction of humanity?

I think a properly done terminator mod in the source engine would easily rival the gameplay and funfactor of L4D.. i mean, it would be amazing to play Hunter-killers hovering around looking for humans in infared vision, and vice-versa: humans banding together in the shadows, setting up ambushes for the machines...

Shiny, terrorific endoskeletons with plasma rifles and nuclear fuel cells, bent on the destruction of humanity, which are featured in movies that don't suck are pretty cool. Like, the first Terminator for instance.

And the sequel!

The third film is a giant pile of steaming manure, of course. Don't know about this new one.

First two are good, yeah. I hear the new one is pretty crappy, though.

"get your ass to mars"
amazing quote from an amazing movie. Total Recall is one of my all-time fav action/future/scifi movies right up there with robocop..
The third film is a giant pile...
Yeah, the third one is worse than anyone could have expected it to be. It brought nothing new to the table and gave you a only very brief view of the start of the war between man and machines when skynet takes over (i was hoping they would show WAY more of the beginnings/birth of the resistance in #3).

Total Recall is hilarious. I love seeing all those old films and how way-off they are with their science.

There's too many problems with the third Terminator film to list. John Connor turned into a pussy, the Terminator himself (itself?) turned into a walking gag-reel... etc. etc.
