Start colliding.

And the universe still exists.

So much for that time travelling particle nonsense.

That hasn't been disproved yet. They could pick one up any second. We don't know how far we would be able to send these particles back in time yet.

I've been looking forward to this. I hope they don't screw it up

They're waiting for you Gordon... In the Hadron Collider.

On a serious note, I heard they won't start doing the real experiments until early 2010

Lets hope it won't break again.

They'll get an unusually pure Hadron this december.
Oh wait, that's Black Mesa, which is a real New Mexican place. :D

If something does go wrong, that would be the coolest way to end the world. Much cooler than the planet warming by a few degrees and nothing really happening.

Actually, the universe as we know it already DID end. What we are living in now is one of the many duplicate universes that were operating as carbon copies of the old one in case anything happened to it. Thankfully the change was so fast nobody noticed, otherwise the world could be in chaos.

lol.. global warming DOES exist dude

but algore is a fucking idiot, i'll give you that

Who is algore? Is he like Al Gore?

Manmade global warming (AGW) is nothing more than a political show meant to scare the masses into submission. Such natural cycles are inevitable anyway.

the extra CO2 is caused by the jews.
Borat likes this.

But really, i'm waiting for the little black holes to start wreaking havoc... gonna be sweet! =)

It's been around for several years and you still don't know? Haven't you read any articles on the machine that explains what it does? What they want to use it for?

college sorority experimentation?

however, when the eventual wrong DOES go.. if they(we?) end up creating a hyper mutated alternate parallel world connected to this one through a series of space disruption..

I'm TOTALLY getting a houndeye as a pet.. maybe an Ichisaur as well.. no headcrabs though (even though the baby ones are kind of cute).. they can become a handful with all the assimilation.

Nothing bad will happen. All the talk of black holes and time travelling particles is just plan old BS.
Posted 14 years ago2009-11-25 15:08:37 UTC Post #276044
I doubt anything significantly bad will happen. In fact, I think I'd be willing to bet someone 100 euro that the world doesn't end. If it doesn't end, I get 100 euro. If it does end, I don't have to pay because the world ended. It's win-win! :D

he got that image off the wall of his local bar..

I'd BET on it!

Actually I got it on the internet. :rly:

In that case, I'll take that bet.

EDIT: Also, I think if it was a large hardon collider, it'd probably impress gays more than women.
