The forums are getting shut down soon, so i'd advise anyone who needs information hosted there to back it up, maybe rewrite it as a wiki article here.

Due to various security vulnerabilitiesThis doesn't seem a valid reason to shutdown when you can switch to a different more secure bulletin board platform...

But as Rufee said, I think that there must be another reasons. Aniway, I remember when Thewavelenght closed beacuse it was attacked by a massive flood of porn spam, it ruined the continuity of my Mod as far as I emember (I denounced it to the cybernetic police of the authorities of my country because the age of the images were of girls less than extremely barely legal). After that, none remained of TWL except the old archive. Even the forums cannot be rescued of the disaster.

Four year old version of vBulletin probably isn't great...

What subforums have the good information?Id say every subforum under Mapping is the biggest amount of stuff and tutorial content. Modelling has some stuff too but the bulk of newer info I already have mirrored on my site since Ive written newer, more up to date workflows.
But as said in the original thread it will be archived in some form
