Sometimes when I play co-op single player in Sven Coop (just got it yesterday, awesome game) sometimes my computer freezes up. Has this happened to any of you? IF so, can I fix it?

Make sure you have all the Co-op's updates and meet the system requirements, and if you run GL or D3D, have the latest video drivers. I don't have Sven, (but it's on my crowded MOD download queue ;) ), and I think these might solve the problem.

If you want SvenCoop just for offline play, dig up a older version of the MOD. But otherwise you will need to download Steam. As far as I can remember, it moves your HL install into a new directory, has tons of updates and bugs, and generally sucks. But, eh, it's the price you pay for SvenCoop, right? :D

It caches your HL install. It does nothing with your WON install but copy it into Steam's format. It does have tons of updates, but once you've downloaded the initial one, theyre minimal. And you get CS 1.6, with shields (yay I like shields) and improved graphics.

TBH, I'm quite satisfyed with STEAM(so far :S), and I used to be one of it greatest oppositions.
It runs smoothly, cs 1.6 works.
Only problems is that it updates pretty slow(and unpredictable imo), like it says "Preparing to play counter-strike (115 mins remaining".

I got the latest version of Sven, use the Half Life engine instead of Steam and can run Open GL (which I do) Anybody else running the same thing and getting the same problem?
