How about n3wbz?
Posted 20 years ago2004-10-24 13:09:21 UTC Post #68854
The only thing you cannot get pissed off at is newbs/newbies.

A question like that shows they didn't even look at the tutorials...
Tutorials are there so we don't get pissed off with you for asking dumb noob questions, and then we can't be bothered to help when you have a real problem.

Refrain from posting again.

Anyone.

Lol.

KILL THE SKYBOX OR DITCH MAPPING
Not pissed at nOoBz?? And this in the first two posts I've read...

I said I was at n00bs. A newbie isn't the same as a n00b.

As for the skybox thing, that was just emphasis, not being pissed.

3D engines aren't really large actually... VHE is indeed just a few MB's...

Have fun mapping!

Hammer is the program you need. The filesize is small since it uses the game resources from Half-Life which is much bigger.

thanks, see no need to be vicious against n3wbs

amen. just ignore the few rude jerks who make the most noise... they have problems that they try to take out on others. you'll figure out pretty quick who the jerks are.

I really see noone being horribly vicious.

If tutorials were read then there would be no need for this thread, thus saving forum space and time for everyone. People spent actual time (:o) writing the tutorials so they could help people new to mapping, but they have no purpose if noone bothers to read them.

That isn't horribly vicious, it's teh plain and simple truth, take killer73863767856787856756278 for example, I've answered alot of his questions, but he keeps coming abck with things that are covered by tutorials, so when he gets a really nasty proble, we'll just see the thread title ofgm biig PROBLEM HELP me NOW!!111NOW!! and skip right past.

Sorry if teh truth hurts,

And anonymous, for christ's sake, are you still living teh lie? get over it man, and stop accusing mods of being harsh towards noobs, noobs deserve what they get imho, and you being one of them is probably why you're so pissed off.
