Gareth, some forumotorial advice - First off - Write in English, like a human being. Skip the "eny1" and "pls" and stuff.
Second, learn how to spell. Eny, pls, no (instead of know) doesn't do the trick. Third - Search and read all tutorials, and, most importantly try before you ask.

1. he meant "english" as in "not stupid chat room abbreviations". 2. hes a better speller than most people who speak english as their first language. 3. its impossible, you need to code it in, and you need to make a new model of the grunt using the crowbar, and some animations to go with it. if you want to code, then its going to take some time. C++ will take a few years, and it isnt going to be free (unless you want some really crap tutorials and compilers). doesnt seem to be any way around this. sorry mate.

I know what he meant, its just the way he put. Does anyone know where i could find some code snippets or what i need to edit in the code to change the weapons available?

this site is more geared towards newbs. look here: http://collective.valve-erc.com/ they have more advanced resources including an entire forum on coding.

yeah, ok, zombie, let him use w/e words he wants, as long as you can understand it, who cares? and uh, please, don't be stupid and carry this sort of stuff on and on. It's not a big enough deal.
Milkshape 3d is decent for hl1 models man, it's free and everything. Decent modeling stuff too. If you find anything better, please post

Be wary that making your own models and editting code takes lots of committment. It's not a matter of 'I wanna learn to code real quick so I can change a grunt's weapons'. If you can code, model, and map, all on an above-average standard, you're up to a professional level. Modding always starts as a hobby, but it either gets serious, or it gets nowhere.

Involves coding the enemies weapon systems and such - probably some annoyingly advanced code. Look for mods who has it and ask their makers.
1. Quote "Intelligenta varktabletten" - Not English...
That's my avatar and has nothing to do with forum posts. Second, that commercial is very funny. 2. ... My first language isn't even English, so how could i? ?_?
