In any Source game when I take a screenshot it just turns out black. It used to work fine until suddenly it quit working. Any idea why?

Have you set jpg quality to 100?
When did this start happening? Did you install any programs?
Might it be a G card problem?

I installed those Omega drivers. Could that be it?

Lol I would honestly think so because what else could have suddenly do that. Unless there is something else you are not telling me?

I got the same problem but its probly cause I overclocked my graphics card too far and burned something out.

J3r3my, are you sure it's completely black and not just really dark? Open up a photo manipulation program and adjust the brightness: does a picture appear, or is it black? I notice that when I take screenshots from HL2, I have to brighten them before I release them as they come out a lot darker than the game.

Odd. The Omega drivers shouldn't be causing it (I run the Omega drivers myself, for my GeForce 4). Try reverting to the official drivers.

I wouldn't, the Omega drivers are worth the lack of screenshotting. Particularly with the evils of the Combine Control Centre.

I found a way around it. just got another program that does it.
