Wow - It seems the more I explore the more I figure out - you can close this thread.
For those who havent figured it out...
place a "point_camera" in your map, give it a name such as...... "cam"
place a brush (preferrably with it's handle lined up vertically with the cam's handle (little x) ) directly under it, and call it "rotate" (or anything else)... give it the "nodraw" texture and it will not show up, but still serve it's purpose.
You HAVE to designate in the point_camera options under "parent" the name of the brush underneath.
Of course place your monitor somewhere, and watch it rotate
Now if anyone knows of an easier way of doing this, please feel free to let me know.
