This is the problem:

I made my own texture (in the map.wad file). The texture has a { before it so it can be transparent.

I made a brush in the map, and added the texture to it. I made the brush a func_wall, set the render mode to rransparent, so the number to 255.

When you run the map, the blue is not transparent like it is meant to be. It works with other { textures, like the ladder.

You can upload a fixed file if you work it out.

The transparant parts aren't transparant because they're blue, but because they're covered with the last color of the texture's palette. Go to the texture in the .wad file and repaint those area's with the last color of the palette (wich is blue when you named your texture with a '{' ).

you know that part of half life where theres a gargantua trapped in a glass case in a lab and you shoot a button and he bangs on the glass and escapes. Theres gotta be a scripted sequence for that,all i realy want thow is a list for more than just the scientist's sequences...i bet i could just guess some ill go try that :)

Thats not a part of Half-Life... btw, your supposed to set the render mose to SOLID, not texture.
