ok this is the very very beging of this map and it is my first halflife map...i can't seem to get the monster_barneys to follow there aiscripted_sequences...it may be a problem with the info_nodes but i don't know...the sequence is suppost to trigger the jail doors to open but they never go to the spot of the sequence and the doors never open

hmmm, i'll download and check, try not using ai scripts and use regular scripted_sequences. or there may be something blocking..... hmmm

i read on a tutorial taht tha aiscripted_sequences were better because they could not be interupted

you should keep mapping for hl, hl mapping is addictive.

says that it needs cs_office.wad, oh and whats wit all the barneys at the player start?

apart from that its looking good (whats the next map ur making?)

ya sorry about the wads...i have been mapping for quit a while with counterstrike...so i have all those wads in hammer and i don't know which textures go with which mod...so if you have steam or just counterstrike you could get the wads you need from there.

the map is okay, but some things that need to be fixed:
-The ladder texture
-in the monsters properties (the aliens in the cages) put the flag "Prisoner" on, so they wont try to attack the player through the cage

okay now to the problems part:

first you grouped the barneys at the start together right (i didn't take a real good look at the map but will later) to that trigger once, that wont work. Dont select a group of barnies and tie them to something, select one at a time.
i'll take a better look at it later...

k thanks...ya i just threw the ladder texture on it because i didn't feel like putting the ladder texture on the brush and tieing it to a func_wall at the time. And if the prisoner tag is on will they attack when not in the cages?

i get what he means so wat u should do is make a invible wall so the aliens dont see you and they open to reveal the aliens you could use clip i think not sure
