Maybe it would help if you uploaded the WAD...

I mean for the RMF...or you could've used standard textures...I think the stained glass is too bright.

Smart idea with the func_illusionary shadows, though.

Nice effects. All hail the mighty func_illusionary! You can do so much with that.

Nifty shadows, though they should be skewed (depending on where the light is entering from, I guess)

Why not use the hacky coloured shadows in ZHLT? Give a nice diffuse feel. Maybe a mixture, half-blurr'd, half-sharp, that might look nice.

I was thinking of that, too, but I don't think it would work. He has the whole window set as a func_breakable, so you could only give it 1 colored shadow.

I personally think that would be way too complicated and take forever to compile. The illusionary brush works just fine in my opinion.

i just use photos of real stained glass windows for textures. it looks so uch better and is easier. make 'em glass, then put a sky behind them and you have nice colrs and light.

1337. Simply beautiful. Agree with Rabid that shadows should be skewed to the left, right, or stredtched forward, backward depending on the position of the sun. Otherwise, Excellent!
