This is my first "real" try at doing a small level in Hammer, after numerous tests and quitting Hammer in frustration for a while over the whole 3D selection thing (bloody Vista...).

Feedback is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Note: this map is very, very dark and underlit. It's meant to make you rely on the flashlight... sorry about that.

Edit: Okay! Added the .bsp file so that the map can run. Hopefully the .bsp file is the right one. =P

I haven't compiled it, (you forgot to include the BSP file D:) but it looks good for a first map. A few pointers: put the middle of env_sparks where you want them to originate, use texture lights (Read the tut on this site for more info) and make your brushwork less blocky (It's a skill that may come quickly if you work on it, remember to use triangles for more complex structures)
Also, if you have a PC, see if you have an ATi card, as they're usually the problem with 3D selection problems. Laptops will probably have a sticker on the keyboard somewhere.

Or even better yet, wadiclude your wads to the bsp. If you update pm me and i'll recheck the map...

58 megabytes. That's how big all those WADs are. Fortunately, the map only uses ONE custom texture (nm_metal6 from neilm2.wad). I have added that WAD to the download and modified the BSP using a hex editor so the map can finally be played after all these years, without any texture or WAD errors. I have left a backup of the original .bsp in the download, too.

Find the crowbar and escape. Simple concept. Watch the battery level on the flashlight and watch out for any surprises. Cute little map. Not bad.
