Didn't know if I was gonna post this as a new map or not but here I go. I made some changes to my compo 31 entry and now it's is better suited as a CS map.
What did I do then?
- Added decals and models and sprites to lessen the bareness feeling.
- lowered r_speeds by removing "detailed" brushwork such as ladders, hand rails and boxes and added some simple brushes with new textures.
- added a few boxes and a light in the tunnel
- some VIS-blocking
- compiled with VHLT25
- modified the mine-chart in B
- added 8 more spawn points (tot. 32)
- connected some more textures to material sounds.
- lowered the boat ledge 2 units so now T doesn't have to jump to get out of the boat (and then move really slow for 1 second) thanks z 1 P!
Not much really but I'm putting it up on more places now and hopefully it will spread. I would love to play it online :3.
Setting:
A rainy afternoon some terrorists or activists of some kind set out by boat to a small mining factory.
Their objective is to piss off the people working there. So they aim to sabotage the refined goods
in the factory (A) or blow up the mining-train-chart-redirecting-platform in the cave-mine (B).
Little did they know that the mining workers are actually also working as counter-terrorists and they've
developed a new way of mining. Mining with guns and ammo. Yes, I mean shootin the walls till stuff drop out.
So they are up for some heavy resistance, however the Terrorists too are armed up to their neck ties.
