3DS Max 9 came in the mail last night! Its AWSOME! Though it is way too much like Max 8. The only difference I see is that its 32-bit, supports DirectX shaders and the like, and it has a whole freakin lot of more rendering power, which doesn't help with HL models, but is fantastic for skyboxes. As a sample of the rendering power, I made a new skybox for he second area of 6D.

Pregnancy going well so far.

She went for a run this morning, and I am heading to the gym to lift some weights.

I am still trying to understand more and more about half life 2 mapping. I am coming along nicely, however i still prefer half life 1 mapping. :nuke:

After a long wait, and a map that got lost, I am finally proud to announce that "PitCrew" has been found and released.

This map was lost in the nether regions for a very long time but after an extensive search it was located.

The actual name PitCrew is pending, but whatever the name finally ends up being, you can still view the map.

Its big. Be prepared for it.

I have a new project coming up!

It will be a HLDM map, based on the interiors of the Visitor Motherships from "V". Here are some small pics from the series that showcase how the inside of the Visitor Motherships look like:

The map will feature:
  • Custom textures (kindly being made and provided by Rimrook :D)
  • Selfdestruct system, known as The Doomsday Device in the series. It'll work like the nuclear strike in Crossfire
Stay tuned for updates. :)

The fact that NineTnine needed a RAPAIR SHOP to be able to get his computer fixed (you should just fix it yourself, like every other self-respecting computer geek) calls for major lulz. LULZ!
