:x :x :x My CS won't work!!! I am running 1.5! Basicly, when I connect to a server, it connects properly and when I am about to join the game, it crashes and says WSAE_NOTSOCK and CS closes down! And sometimes when I connect to a server my net crashes and the game also crashes! The same thing happened with my dial-up connection! I have installed service-pack 1 for Windows XP and it still don't work!!! My only other option is to back up HL and risk the horrors of Steam! OH NO!!! :(

I managed to get it to work without ruining my HL, i renamed HL directory to HL instead of Half-Life and it didnt detect it! But I still cant get it to work :x !! It keeps timing out! So I have uninstalled it for now!
