Since I don't beleive in premarital sex anyway, Devout Christian women are okay for me. although I DID date this one girl who said she would not kiss before mariage and i was like "Whatev" and just didn't ever call her again.

I'm surprised by the insensetivity of some people, I was asked earlier today if I want to be set-up, maybe it's just me who's a slow mover but I'm not gonna date someone-else the day after a pretty serious relationship.
Yup, people are always like that. Your not the only one.

yeah, hugh, I dated a really liberal girl who was talking about how women can reproduce without men and how they are better and men all need to die
Er... I don't think that's very liberal, you know. That's called a "nazi feminist".

One of the things I find quite laughable about the religions which enforce it. It's not love if it's not legally binding! Stupid.

I never make moves on the ladies 'cause I don't have a car and a job. Better to avoid than disappoint, y'know? Someday I'll have both and I'll be rollin' in the ladies, rollin'!

First of all, who says "love" means sex? Whoever says that is just a product of the TV. The marriage the bible talks about is not the legal kind that you sign at a courthouse. It's the kind from the church.. you know "by the power vested in me by God, i now pronounce you man and wife."

People like you often get these things confused, the legal and church marriages happen at the same time normally.

Not me, but they're pretty connected in most healthy relationships, I'm sure you agree.

The idea of letting the church control you... it's just baffling. It's the twenty-first century!

And guess what, the church marriage is the one that has to wait until the legal one is possible (usually because of economic reasons)
The idea that two people can't love each other because of housing prices is pathetic.

It's not a CHURCH controlling anyone. Since anyone in a church beleives in God, it's GOD "controlling" them, and who if not God has a right to control ppl? Plus, we don't think of it as control, because we do all this voluntarily.

And, yes, sex is a part of healthy marriages, but before that, I think it's pretty irresponsible.

Who said housing prices control love, Kasperg? In the community I go to church in, when you get married, your father gives you some land when you get married. and you can move a trailer or something onto it.

hugh, you liar, you know you're already rollin' in Ladies.

In the country I live in, people usually wait until they have permanent jobs and a house to get married. As housing prices increase, the moment is postponed. So following those religious principles would mean not making love until you're at least 30-35.

There's a guy at my church who's like 38 or something, and he's not married so he's never done it. Most people get married at 20-27 in this community. sometimes too early...

However, if you have never done it before and have actually waited all that time, you really don't know what you're missing anyway.

What are you talking about? All the movies and TV shows, most people know exactly what they're missing.

I didn't have sex until I was way into my thirties. I'd say I missed out a lot.

I don't think I'm missing anything. I have the rest of my life to do that after I'm married. Plus I know my future wife feels the same way, and I don't get someone else's leftovers. Few things disgust me as much as thinking of getting "leftovers."

If you don't act now, all you got left is "leftovers".
