I need some help locating some images.

I am learning to model using the XSI Mod Tool and a brilliant and ambitious idea hit me the other day. It occured to me that there where no original/imaginative skins for the AWP out there. Then, a bit of nostalgia hit and the idea came to me...the Super Scope. The SNES Super Scope. This has, to my knowledge, not been done yet and I think, all be it ambitious for a beginner, would make an incredible AWP skin.

However, my problem is locating good images to use as my base to model/skin it with. I am not previe to all the tricks to getting the search engines to display exactly what u want. So I call to u, those who can bend Google to your whim. I as your help in bringing a truly original skin into existance for the AWP.

If you have a super scope yourself and have access to a digital camera, taking your own images is an option, also.

You're likely done this already but:

Google->Images - search for "SNES super scope" (without the quotation remarks.

There're a couple images in there that are flat. Might take some manipulation to skin a model with it but it should provide the basics.

If you're going to distribute your model, consider whether the image(s) you use are copyrighted.

Want a good site for XSI? THis one is very good. Helpful peeps on forums, good tutorials, etc.

http://www.xsibase.com/

As for the scope: Super smash melee had it. If you have that game, there is a trophy for it you get very easily. After aquiring it, go to trophy viewer. THere you get a 3d 360 view of it! IF you dont have it, then :(

Thanx for the link and I do have Melee (I've got all three systems from that gen and am longing for a 360. hate not having any money)

I've thought about the melee trophy but I'm unsure how to go about using it. The quality of pics off of a tv isn't that great and I don't know how to 'crack open' a GCN game on my PC. I tried looking for a ROM, but Melee is one of the title's that hasn't been done yet.

If your TV is close to your PC then you can use the pic of the Scope on the TV as a dynamic 3D reference :)

I made it up :) I guess it means a 3D picture you can turn and adjust at will :)

Good luck on the model :)
