My mappack concept:
Setting: Wrecked ship
Theme: Horror
Maps: 3/4

I'm thinking of having an interior airboat chace sequnce, inside the said wrecked ship I.E tox-crabs and super-zombies flying from xyz trying to feast on the players innards whils the player is trying to zoom through the ship in his/her little airboat

Any suggestions?

Well, basically I'm going for a Ravenholm-esque sunken ship theme, I.E minimal lighting, and zombies pouring in from either side of the corridor that the player happens to be driving down.

Question: Would it more fun and interesting if the player had the gunless airboat or the one with the gun?

Meh..... I've decided that im not suited to mappacks, I'll stick with making single maps for now

Don't feel down...Sometimes you get ideas and you really want to make them but sometimes you can't because that idea that once sparked in your mind starts to flicker out and eventually you lose interest.

Heck look at me...I've started a mod when I began mapping and that failed, next was the countless mods I joined which died and then there are even maps which lie in cyber space because they had no use or just weren?t finished.

So just practice and the good thing I always think is the more maps you make the more content you can copy into future maps to save time or to be inspired by.

I remember when I first joined TWHL I wanted to start a mod of my own as well. Even had the story worked out and everything. Unfortunately, I had no mapping skills at the time, so I had to give up that dream. One of these days I might make that mod, but for now I'm just focusing on developing my mapping skills and having fun doing it.
