Not sure if I need to upgrade my computer so it runs hl2 at a decent fps. I know nobody has the game, but from some personal computer stats how well do you think I will be able to run it?

------
128ram
Pent4
Dx9
Geforce4
18.6 gb
------

I'm not computer expert so please help! I wan't to do the upgrading before its released!

a good p4, reasonable GF4 and a lot more ram should be able to run it
Why you have'nt put more ram in I have no idea, it would speed up your pc no end!

yeah i got it in a magazine, but i think it may be a little bit higher now cause they had time to develop further
Posted 20 years ago2004-01-18 08:24:03 UTC Post #12538
maybe not, hl2 suppourst LOD models and props, so if you run at those spacs, the game will be playable, but don't expect realtime reflections on your water
Posted 20 years ago2004-01-18 08:52:38 UTC Post #12546
Its playable, right, but if you want some more axxion(lol) get some monstercomp...
